The short version
The whole Bible is free, on every device, and always will be. A subscription is $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year and buys one thing: Speak, without its free limits. It covers every device you sign in on, and you can cancel it wherever you bought it.
World Bible Guide is a Bible reader — the King James Version and a plain-language reading of every verse — on iPhone, on iPad, and in a browser at app.worldbible.guide. It also offers Speak, described below. By using any of them you are agreeing to what is on this page.
Reading needs no account. Speak does, because a conversation belongs to somebody and follows them between devices, and because a subscription has to attach to something. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in to yourself, and you must be old enough to agree to this where you live.

On iPhone and iPad, payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are Apple's to give, through Apple.
On the web, payment is taken by Stripe from the first day — there is no trial. It renews monthly or yearly until you cancel, which you can do at any time from the account page, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than ending what you have paid for. Ask us if you think a refund is owed and we will look at it properly.
One subscription, everywhere. It belongs to your account, so buying it in one place opens Speak in the others. You should never be charged twice — each place checks whether you already subscribe before offering to sell you anything, and tells you instead. If you are ever charged twice anyway, tell us and we will refund it.
Prices may change. If they do, it will not be for a period you have already paid for, and you will be told before the change takes effect.
All sixty-six books and all 31,102 verses, in both wordings, with the artwork and the daily verse — free, with nothing held back and nothing to unlock. Speak is open to everyone too, with a limit: one journey, ever, and 10 questions a month. A subscription lifts those limits and does nothing else.
Questions without the 10-a-month cap, and 6 journeys a calendar month. The count resets on the 1st. A journey you have begun always runs to its end, however many months that takes — nothing is ever cut short because a month turned.
You may hold two unfinished journeys at a time. This is not a limit on how many you may walk; it is there because a journey is a conversation that waits for you, and a pile of forgotten ones is no use to anybody. Finish one, or leave it — leaving keeps everything you wrote, and a journey nobody has touched for a fortnight stops counting by itself.
Each character in Speak is an interpretation built from a text — not the person, not a historical record, and not a representative of any church or tradition. The app states this before any conversation begins. What it says is generated, and it can be wrong.
It is not counselling, therapy, medical, legal or financial advice, and must not be used in place of any of them. A conversation that turns towards real distress is answered in plain words pointing at real help; if you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.
Please do not use Speak to harass anybody, to break the law, to try to make it produce something harmful, or to build another product out of it. We may end access that is used that way.
The King James Version is in the public domain and always was. The plain-language reading, the artwork for all sixty-six books, and everything in Speak are ours, and are licensed to you for your own reading rather than for redistribution. What you write remains yours; you give us permission to store it and send it to be answered, which is what makes the feature work at all.
We offer this as it is, and cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never be wrong. Nothing here limits rights you have by law where you live, and consumer law in your country applies whatever this page says.
If these terms change, the updated version appears here with a new date. You can stop using the app at any time; we may end access that breaks these terms, and if we do we will refund any unused part of a subscription.
