Yes. All 31,102 verses of the King James Bible, their plain-language companions, book artwork, and the daily verse are free — and in the iPhone and iPad app, so are the Berean Standard Bible and the Bibles in six more languages. Speak includes one journey, once, and ten questions every month, free. A subscription adds listening and more of Speak.
Is the plain-language reading a Bible translation?
It is a companion paraphrase to help you explore the wording, not a replacement for Scripture or a separate scholarly translation. The King James text is always presented alongside it so you can read and compare for yourself.
Which Bibles and languages are there?
In the iPhone and iPad app: the King James Version and the Berean Standard Bible in English, and Reina-Valera 1909 in Spanish, the Bíblia Livre in Portuguese, the Synodal Bible in Russian, Kulish–Puluj in Ukrainian, Louis Segond 1910 in French and Luther 1912 in German. Each is downloaded once, read offline, and kept in its own verse numbering. The app itself speaks all 7 languages, following your iPhone or chosen in Settings. In the browser, the web app has the King James Version with its plain-language reading.

Listening is part of the subscription; the verse of the day is free for everyone to hear.
Can I read the Bible offline?
The iPhone and iPad app includes the King James Bible for offline reading, and every other Bible works offline once it is downloaded. In the web app, use the offline download in Settings to save the Bible on your device. Speak needs an internet connection.
Can I use it on Android or a computer?
