I place my rainbow in the sky, a beautiful promise of peace between me and the world.

Genesis 11:9

Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Hence, it's named Babel, for it was there that God mixed up everyone's language, causing them to scatter across the entire world.

Genesis 27:39

And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;

Isaac, his father, responded with assurance, "My son, your home will be blessed with the earth's richness and the heavenly dew from above."
