Psalms

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Fortunate is the person who doesn't follow the advice of the wicked, doesn't join in with sinners, and doesn't mock others.

You will bravely step on the lion and snake; you'll courageously crush the young lion and dragon under your feet.

O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Dear God, I am truly your devoted follower, born of your humble servant. You have set me free from my chains.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

God is always close to those who genuinely reach out to him, offering their true selves.
