Psalm 29, verse by verse
Each verse is given twice: first in the King James Version, then in the World Bible Guide plain reading.
Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Offer your strength and honor to the Lord, you powerful ones, present your might and glory to Him.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Offer your heartfelt praises to the Lord, for He is deserving of all honor. Adore Him in the pure splendor of your devotion.
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
God's voice echoes over the oceans, His majestic roar resounds like thunder. He is present over all the vast waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
God's voice is strong and commanding; it radiates with a royal grandeur.
The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
The powerful voice of the LORD can shatter mighty cedars; yes, even the majestic cedars of Lebanon are not immune to His strength.
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
He makes them leap like a playful calf; both Lebanon and Sirion spring up like a young wild ox.
The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
The LORD's voice splits the fiery blaze.
The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
The powerful voice of the LORD stirs the wilderness, causing the untouched lands of Kadesh to tremble in awe.
The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
God's powerful voice triggers birth in deer and strips the forests bare. In His sacred place, everyone praises His magnificence.
The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
The Lord reigns over the chaos, forever seated as an eternal King.
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
The LORD will empower his people; He will shower them with tranquility.
