Psalm 150, verse by verse
Each verse is given twice: first in the King James Version, then in the World Bible Guide plain reading.
Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
Celebrate the Lord. Honor Him in His sacred space; admire Him in the vastness of His mighty universe.
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Celebrate him for his powerful deeds; honor him for his unparalleled magnificence.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Celebrate Him with the joyful trumpet's call; honor Him with the gentle strumming of the harp and psaltery.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Celebrate Him with rhythmic dancing and drum beats; honor Him with the melody of strings and the sound of the flute.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Celebrate Him with the resounding clash of cymbals; honor Him with the vibrant echo of high-pitched cymbals.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Everything that breathes, rejoice and celebrate the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord.
