Each verse is given twice: first in the King James Version, then in the World Bible Guide plain reading.

1

Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

Celebrate God's greatness! With every beat of my heart, I will honor God, surrounded by good-hearted people and within our community.

2

The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

God's deeds are magnificent, admired by all who find joy in them.

3

His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

His deeds are noble and magnificent; His fairness lasts for all eternity.

4

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

His awe-inspiring deeds are etched in our hearts; our Lord is a wellspring of kindness and empathy.

5

He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

He has provided for those who respect him; he will always remember his promises.

6

He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

He has revealed his mighty deeds to his people, so he can bless them with the riches of other nations.

7

The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

His creations are truth and justice; all His instructions are reliable.

8

They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

They remain unshaken eternally, rooted in honesty and integrity.

9

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

He gifted his people with salvation, his eternal promise is unbreakable. His name is sacred and deserving of utmost respect.

10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Respecting and honoring God is the first step towards true wisdom. Those who follow His teachings gain deep understanding. His glory is eternal.
