Psalm 15, verse by verse
Each verse is given twice: first in the King James Version, then in the World Bible Guide plain reading.
Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
Who is worthy to stay in your sacred home, Lord? Who can live on your divine hill?
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
The one who lives honestly, acts justly, and carries truth in their heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
He who doesn't spread rumors, harm others, or insult his neighbors.
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
One who despises the wicked but respects those who respect the Lord, and keeps their word even when it hurts, without changing their mind.
He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
Those who lend their money without charging interest, and who refuse a bribe against the innocent, will always stand firm.
