From Judges

Judges 1:1

Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?

After Joshua's passing, the children of Israel, filled with uncertainty and fear, turned to the LORD. They pleaded, "Who among us should first confront the Canaanites in battle?"

Judges 7:22

And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.

The three hundred sounded their trumpets, causing a divine chaos. God made each man turn his sword against his brother, spreading fear and confusion among them. They all fled in terror, seeking refuge in Bethshittah, Zererath, and as far as the edge of Abelmeholah, even unto Tabbath.

Judges 14:13

But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.

If you can't solve my riddle, you owe me thirty sheets and thirty sets of clothes. They responded, "Go ahead, tell us your riddle so we can hear it."

Judges 16:28

And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

With a heavy heart, Samson cried out to God, "Please, remember me. Give me strength just this one last time, so I can avenge the loss of my sight against the Philistines."
