Numbers 34, verse by verse
Each verse is given twice: first in the King James Version, then in the World Bible Guide plain reading.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
With a deep, compassionate voice, the LORD shared His words with Moses, expressing,
Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
Instruct the children of Israel and tell them, when you arrive in Canaan - this is the land that will be your inheritance, including all its borders - it's the land of Canaan.
Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
Your southern territory will stretch from the barren wilderness of Zin, skirting the edge of Edom, until it reaches the easternmost shore of the salty sea.
And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:
Your territory will stretch from the south, climbing the heights of Akrabbim, then reaching out to Zin. From there, it will extend southward to Kadeshbarnea, then continue to Hazaraddar, and finally touch Azmon.
And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
The boundary will stretch from Azmon to the Egyptian river, ending at the sea.
And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
Your boundary to the west will touch the vast ocean, this will be your western limit.
And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
Your northern boundary will be this: starting from the vast ocean, you'll mark out towards Mount Hor.
From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
From the peak of Mount Hor, you will trace your boundary to the gateway of Hamath; your border will extend up to Zedad.
And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.
The boundary will extend to Ziphron, ending at Hazarenan. This will be your northern limit.
And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:
With passion and clarity, you shall define your eastern boundary, stretching from Hazarenan to Shepham.
And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
The boundary will gently slope down from Shepham to Riblah, on Ain's eastern edge. It will continue to descend, eventually touching the eastern shore of the Sea of Chinnereth.
And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
The boundary will extend to the Jordan River, ending at the Salt Sea. This land, surrounded by its edges, will be yours.
And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
Moses passionately instructed the Israelites, "This is your promised land, gifted to you by the LORD. It's meant for the nine and a half tribes."
For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
The descendants of Reuben and Gad, following their family lines, have received their rightful inheritance. Even half of Manasseh's tribe has been granted their share.
The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
The two and a half tribes have already been blessed with their share of land, just east of Jericho, where the sun first greets the day.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
