And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

In the solitude of Sinai's wilderness, God spoke to Moses. It was the first day of the second month, two years since they had left Egypt. In the meeting tent, God's voice echoed, saying,

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

May God's face shine upon you, bringing you tranquility.

Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

Moses felt the sorrow of the people, their tears echoing from every home. God's fury flared intensely, and Moses too, was upset.

I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

I will see him, but not yet. I will witness him, but he's not close. A star will emerge from Jacob, a ruler will rise from Israel, bringing down Moab and wiping out Sheth's descendants.
