From 2 Samuel

After Saul's death, David returned from defeating the Amalekites. He spent two days resting in Ziklag, weary yet triumphant.
And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, then fled they also before Abishai, and entered into the city. So Joab returned from the children of Ammon, and came to Jerusalem.
When the Ammonites saw the Syrians retreating, fear gripped them. They too fled from Abishai, seeking refuge in their city. Meanwhile, Joab, having completed his mission, left the Ammonites and returned to Jerusalem.

The battlefield was spread across the entire land, causing chaos everywhere. Yet, it was the treacherous forest that claimed more lives that day than the deadly sword.
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
My God is my rock, my unwavering trust lies in Him. He is my protector, the beacon of my salvation, my safe haven, and my rescuer, shielding me from harm.
