From Zechariah
In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
In the second year of King Darius' reign, during the eighth month, God spoke to Zechariah, the prophet Iddo's grandson, and Berechiah's son, with a message.
In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
In the first chariot, spirited red horses pranced; while the second chariot was drawn by solemn black horses.
Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
I was deeply upset with the shepherds and disciplined the goats. The Lord, our mighty leader, looked after his people of Judah, strengthening them like a majestic horse in battle.
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
The day will come when God will reign supreme over the entire world. On that day, there will be only one God, known by a single name.
