Exodus 39, verse by verse
Each verse is given twice: first in the King James Version, then in the World Bible Guide plain reading.
And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
They crafted sacred garments from hues of blue, purple, and scarlet, to serve in the holy sanctuary, just as God instructed Moses, all for Aaron's divine attire.
And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
He lovingly crafted the ephod, using gold, shades of blue and purple, scarlet, and the finest woven linen.
And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
With great skill and care, they hammered the gold into delicate sheets, then sliced it into slender wires. They then intricately wove it into the vibrant blue, royal purple, fiery scarlet, and pristine linen.
They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
They crafted straps for it, uniting it seamlessly at both ends.
And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
The intricate belt of his ceremonial garment, made from gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine woven linen, was crafted exactly as the Lord had instructed Moses.
And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.
They crafted onyx stones, set in golden frames, intricately engraved like signets, each bearing the names of Israel's children.
And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
He placed the stones on the ephod's shoulders, as a lasting reminder for the people of Israel, following God's instructions to Moses.
And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
With skilled hands and a keen mind, he crafted the breastplate. It was as magnificent as the ephod, gleaming with gold and adorned with hues of blue, purple, and scarlet, all woven into fine linen.
It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.
They crafted the chest piece into a perfect square, folded over for strength. It measured the same in length and width, a span each way, the width of a hand spread from thumb to little finger.
And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.
They lovingly placed four rows of precious stones in it. The first row sparkled with a fiery sardius, a golden topaz, and a radiant carbuncle. This was the beautiful beginning.
And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
In the next line, a vibrant emerald, a deep blue sapphire, and a sparkling diamond.
And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
In the third row, there lay a ligure, glowing with mystery, an agate radiating warmth, and an amethyst shimmering with royal majesty.
And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.
In the fourth row, there was a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper, all beautifully encased in golden settings, radiating with divine brilliance.
And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.
Each of the twelve stones bore the name of a child of Israel, representing the twelve tribes, engraved as if on a personal seal.
And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.
They crafted chains of pure gold, intricately woven, adorning the sacred breastplate.
And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.
With reverence, they crafted two golden clasps and a pair of gold rings. They lovingly attached the rings to the ends of the sacred chest piece.
And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.
They lovingly placed the two golden chains, intricately woven, into the two rings at the ends of the sacred chest piece.
And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.
They attached the two ends of the woven chains to the two settings, and placed them on the ephod's shoulder straps, at the front.
And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.
They crafted two golden rings, placing them on either end of the chest piece, right along its edge, facing towards the ephod.
And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
They crafted two more golden rings, placing them on each side of the ephod, beneath and towards the front. These were positioned opposite the other pair, just above the intricately designed belt of the ephod.
And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
They securely attached the chest piece to the ephod using a blue cord, ensuring it sat above the intricately designed belt. This was to prevent the chest piece from detaching from the ephod, just as the LORD had instructed Moses.
And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
With great care and devotion, he crafted the ephod's robe, a tapestry of pure, heavenly blue.
And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.
In the center of the robe, there was a hole, similar to one in a piece of armor. It was encircled by a band to prevent it from tearing further.
And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
They adorned the robe's edges with pomegranates, beautifully crafted in hues of blue, purple, and scarlet, intertwined with linen.
And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
They crafted delicate bells from pure gold, placing them gently among the pomegranates adorning the robe's hem, creating a harmonious blend of beauty and sound.
A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.
As God instructed Moses, the robe's edge was adorned with alternating bells and pomegranates, symbolizing a harmonious blend of sound and beauty in service to the Lord.
And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
With great care and love, they crafted exquisite linen robes for Aaron and his sons.
And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
A turban of pure linen, beautiful caps of the same, and undergarments woven intricately from fine linen.
And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.
A beautifully woven belt of fine linen, dyed in hues of blue, purple, and scarlet, crafted with love and precision, just as the LORD instructed Moses.
And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
They crafted the sacred crown from pure gold, inscribing on it with the precision of a seal, "Dedicated to the Lord."
And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.
They attached a blue cord to it, securing it high on the priest's hat, just as God had instructed Moses, with a sense of reverence and obedience.
Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
The construction of the sacred meeting tent was finally complete. The people of Israel followed every instruction God gave Moses to the letter.
And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,
They presented Moses with the sacred tent, complete with all its furnishings - the fasteners, planks, rods, pillars, and bases, all filled with reverence and awe.
And the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers’ skins, and the vail of the covering,
Cloaked in the vibrant red of ram skins and the rugged hide of badgers, beneath the veil of protection.
The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,
The sacred chest of divine promises, its carrying poles, and the seat of compassion.
The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,
The table with all its utensils, and the sacred bread, were all prepared with utmost reverence and devotion.
The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
The immaculate candlestick, its lamps arranged meticulously, all its accompanying vessels, and the oil that fuels its light.
And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
The golden altar, the sacred oil, the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the sanctuary's entrance, all stirred deep emotions.
The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
The bronze altar, with its brass grate, poles, and all its tools, along with the basin and its base,
The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
The sacred curtains of the courtyard, its pillars and bases, the drapes for the entrance, its ropes and stakes, and every tool used for the tabernacle's service, all meant for the communal tent, were filled with a profound sense of reverence and awe.
The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office.
The sacred attire, worn to serve in the divine sanctuary, and the holy robes for Aaron the priest, along with his sons' outfits, to fulfill their priestly duties.
According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
In faithful obedience to God's instructions given through Moses, the Israelites diligently completed their tasks.
And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.
Moses surveyed all the work they had done, exactly as the Lord had instructed. Overwhelmed with joy and pride, he blessed them.
